Dear stressed out, burdened, overwhelmed person:
When you superficially answer, βI am fine thanks and you?β, with a smile and hope they donβt see in your eyes that you are falling apart.
π When you officially get the qualifications , but every door is closed or blocked.
π When you have to make ends meet and function without the right resources or support.
π When you are doing your best, but still experience work place bullying or gas lighting.
π When you unofficially do a lot of the behind the scenes work whether you get recognition or not.
π When you feel that the failures and disappointments are more than the victories.
π When you cannot afford to rest or not be okay, because if you donβt do it, no one else will.
π When others are winding down and celebrating but itβs the saddest or busiest time of the year for you.
π When you officially wait for the right time to get married or have a baby and itβs not happening.
π When you unofficially become man of the house with increased financial responsibilities.
π When you are βTHE MANβ but you always feel exhausted because you are expected to pay for everything.
π When your life looks picture perfect but you dread going home on a daily basis.
Remember, we are all affected by each otherβs mental health.
π When you or a family member are diagnosed with a medical condition but are still in denial.
π When the title is supposed to guarantee happiness but it still feels uphill.
When depression attacks you, its okay to officially be on medication, see a therapist, get support, speak to someone or practice mindfulness.
No one is immune to stressors, so itβs officialβ¦ we are all in the same boat π€. Please reach your hand out to anyone who is falling off the boat.
Sending you peace, Dr Bee Authentic ππ
